I’ve always stayed true to my deepest passion, which is closely tied to technology and the digital world. Little by little, I’ve brought innovation and optimism wherever I could.
NP Technology’s activity is based on the concept of green purchasing. The aim of our products is to reduce waiting times at
hotel receptions, minimize paper use, avoid printing documents during check-in and check-out, and eliminate the need to photocopy ID documents… All of this helps avoid the storage of massive amounts of paper, saves money on pre-printed forms, and eliminates unreliable manual procedures. You had already accumulated a lot of experience in this field.
It was 1994. My journey began in a café in Italy, when I saw a news report about the obligation for hotels to send guest information to the police. At that moment, I asked myself a simple question: “But why are they still printing and hand-delivering the documents to the offices?” I became obsessed with the idea of changing the world by eliminating paper, thus simplifying business organization through digital technology. After solving the problem of data transmission, I focused on the issue of storing the second copy. I discovered a drawing tablet, the Wacom Volito 2, and implemented this solution to create a digital copy to be stored in the hotel. A lot of time has passed since then… Yes, but that dream has become a reality: today, my company operates on both a national and international level, offering cutting-edge technological solutions and excellent technical and legal support. I provide pioneering technological solutions in digitalization and paper dematerialization, with the goal of reducing costs and maximizing productivity and efficiency.
In anticipation of the international expansion of our solution for the hospitality sector, I was looking for a country that fostered start-up growth and where companies could also benefit from lower taxes. In this regard, it was essential for NP Technology to take advantage of the best conditions in order to offer its products at more competitive prices.
A software to send guests’ personal data to the police, another one for web services, one — implemented in Italy — for electronic invoicing, and another for pre-arrival web billing with remote electronic signature of forms and contracts. We also offer the Q-EASY solution: a single device to scan IDs, display information, accept privacy policy terms, capture signatures, and enter personal data and details. Finally, the BUTLERFLY program allows users to register identifiers, check pro forma invoices, consent to privacy terms, sign documents, etc. This way, all billing and payment operations can be handled digitally.
